It’s the ideal destination for who loves Beach-Sea and Fun holidays directly to the sea, thanks to its wonderful camping-sites and its majestic hotel 4* with their panoramic sea-view. The city center of Baia Domizia is waiting for clients for a nice walk with family and children, a typical dinner or lunch, a visit to the local handcraft shops.
Baia Domizia is called “the door to the South Italy”, in fact it’s the first sea-resort that you can find after Roma and Latina. Thanks to its geographical position and conformation, it’s a real lovely bay on the Gaeta Gulf and its name came from the old Roman Empire influence and the presence of the ancient Via Domiziana, one of the main Roman commercial street that joined Rome with the southern territories, that’ why it’s called BAIA DOMIZIA.
The sandy beaches that you can find all over the bay, have volcanic origin. Beaches, sand dunes, pine-woods and paths are the main aspects of its territory, typical of the Mediterranean Forest that still remain and you can see on more than 6 km on the coast.
In 1970, Baia Domizia became one of the most required destination for clients coming from North Europe, Sweden, Hollande and Germany, offering several accommodation : hotels, camping-sites, villas and apartments.
