Campania is one of the most popular region of South Italy facing the Tirrenian Sea, and its sea is really famous all over the world: its intense colors and rich coast bays, coves and rocky cliffs, the Bay of Naples, the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida; the Amalfi coast as well as Sorrento or Positano, sea resorts that each summer call thousand and thousand of tourist, leaving them without words because of the beauties of its landscapes.

The region counts 5 big cities: Napoli, Caserta, Benevento, Avellino and Salerno, where you can spend an unforgettable holiday.

Visiting historical sites such as Paestum, Ercolano, Pompei , the Royal Palace of Caserta (Reggia di Caserta) will give you an unforgettable experience.

If you decide to spend your vacation in Campania you will have the opportunity to see lots of great historical sites. Here five sites declared World Heritage Site.

-Napoli impresses visitors with its liveliness. It attracts attention not only amazing beautiful turquoise sea, but also the history that is clearly visible in every corner of the historical city center, a true open-air museum. We have to remember the  Vesuvio dark and mysterious active volcano, the symbol of the city and of the whole region.

-Talking about Vesuvio we discover the 2° sites: the archeological area of Pompei, Ercolano and Torre Annunziata, where in the  '79 a.c., these 3 cities were completely destroyed by the volcano’s eruction. Lava caused the destruction of all cities, but at the same time, it allowed them to reach our days completely  intact, giving us full proof and witness of the life of that era.

-Costiera Amalfitana with sea resorts as Sorrento, Amalfi , Ravello, Positano  and Vietri sul Mare are just some of the jewels of this area, where the stone meets the blue sea, giving life to an amazing and unbelievable landscape.

- the Reggia of Caserta, the outstanding monument created in order to compete with the majestic of Versailles and Madrid, it’s a wonderful example of royal palace from the Illuminism Period. It’s made up of sumptuous palace with its park, gardens, natural forest area,  hunting lodges and an industrial building for the silk’s production.

- Do not miss the opportunity to visit the Parco Nazionale of Cilento  with the little town of Paestum and Velia.

The region Campania offers many ways to experience and discover the beauty of this area, the perfect harmony between history, nature, culture, folklore and a renowned local cuisine.

If  we speak about Spa and Thermal water, it’s compulsory to spend time talking about the green island of Ischia (a pearl of the Gulf of Naples) and its important thermal spas, one of the most famous of all Europe, that thanks to its volcanic origin, this resort boasts one of the best  hydrothermal site in the world for several typologies of cures and treatments.

Another pearl of the Gulf is the  little island of Capri, this island is considered the king of social life and luxury, the venue of politicians, celebrities and movie stars.

Cuisine of this region is famous for its typical products: among the many local dishes  very famous is Napoli’s pizza, but also cheese as Mozzarella, home-made Pasta, the Pastiera ,a regional  cake and all the fish that the Gulf of Naples offers.
