Corvara is an Italian town in the province of Bolzano. It is the largest resort in Val Badia at about 1568 meters above the sea level, in the "heart" of the beautiful mountains of the Dolomites. The town lies in the sunny plain at the foot of the Sassongher.
In the 30s, in Corvara was founded the first ski school in Val Badia, while in 1938 it was built the cable road racers on the Col Alto, replaced in 1947 by the first chairlift in Italy.
Infrastructure of the town are very well developed. A wide range of places to stay: comfortable family apartments, hotels and farm holidays for all needs, from low budget to luxury and prestigious five stars.

Even in summer, you can easily reach a height of over 2,000 meters, where you can enjoy an unforgettable view - from the spectacular peaks of the Dolomites Alta Badia up to the Marmolada glacier and the Austrian Alps. You can go hiking on many paths, starting with the lightest in the valley Col Alto - Pralongià up to the park Puez - Odle or choose challenging courses on the mountain tops Sassongher and Piz Boe. In the same village there is a climbing wall and a variety of sports and entertainments.
Active sports lovers will feel comfortable in Corvara. Over 130 km of ski slopes surrounded by majestic peaks - the view is also ideal for ski poles, winter hiking and skiing. Located near the famous Gran Risa, which hosts the Ski World Cup.
Red tracks suitable for intermediate while blue slopes are suitable for beginners and families with children. Experienced skiers can choose the most challenging tracks, such as the Vallon - Boè, 4.5 km long and Col Alt.
From Corvara you have direct access to two beautiful ski resorts in the Alps, "Sella Ronda" and the "the Great War ski tour". Corvara is also an ideal place for children offering ski school lessons and kindergarten.
