Veneto  is a region of the North of Italy,  located in the northern-eastern area; it borders to the North with mountains of Trentino Alto Adige, to the West with the cozy Lombardy, where the GARDA LAKE represents physically the border, to the South with Emilia Romagna,  and to the East there is the Adriatic Sea. The south area is crossed by one of the most important river of our country, the Po River, while in the rest of the region  there are other 3 rivers: the Adige, the Brenta and the Piave; while the north is characterized by the mountains of DOLOMITI and VAL CADORE.

The name of this region comes from the first local people who lived here, called the “Veneziani”, that reached  in these locations since the prehistory era.

Its territory is divided in 7 districts with 7 main cities: Venezia (chief town) than Verona, Treviso, Vicenza,  Rovigo, Belluno and Padova.

From a touristic point of view, Veneto offers a lot of services and a lot of sightseeing and interesting location: the city of Venezia,  the ski resort of Cortina d'Ampezzo , the funny sea resort of Lido di Jesolo, the picturesque Chioggia, or the elegant Lido di Venezia, the thermal spa center of Abano Terme  and Montegrotto Terme and others art cities as Verona, Vicenza, Treviso e Padova.

In Veneto you can join all the aspects of the “tourism”: Art & Culture thanks to the main important cities as Venezia , Verona, Padova or Vicenza, here easily walking around the historical city center, you will be absorbed into the past, in different eras and different periods, admiring all the best monuments and sightseeing that from the past reached us quite intact, as Palazzo Ducale, the Balcony of Romeo & Juliet, Basilica of Sant’Antonio or the best masterpieces of Palladio all scattered around Vicenza’s territory.

And again Tradition and Good Cuisine. Veneto can offer a big variety of local typical dishes, especially of Fish, but also Meat and Pasta together with Vegetables. Famous is Risotto, Polenta or fish as Baccalà.

Take note of these : Bardolino, Cabernet, Merlot, Valpolicella and Recioto, these are the most important wines produced in the Veneto Region.
