Friuli-Venezia Giulia

Friuli-Venezia Giulia is an administrative region in the north-east area of Italy, on the border with Slovenia and Austria, it represents the Door to the East Europe and for years it was a border land, where different people, cultures and traditions combines one to each other. That is why, Friuli-Venezia Giulia looks like a small universe still called "the land of differences".

A region with only 4 cities, a small region with Sea, Mountains, River all together and a lot of sightseeing to admire, excursion to do and to visit, so many different landscapes as the impressive Altopiano Carsico, a bare rock, where soil erosion has created a series of caves, holes and springs, as same impressive are the breathtaking views from the so-high mountains of the Eastern Dolomites, Alpi Carniche and Alpi Giulie extending among the lakes, valleys and nature reserves.

From the border towards Veneto, the coast is a lagoon having long sandy beaches, where you find the various tourist areas including the famous Lignano Sabbiadoro. From Monfalcone to Trieste the sandy leaves place to a wonderful rocky coast. A long coast where you can simply have  a relaxing holidays or taste your attitude to all sports s beach-volley, water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, cycling or get fun in recreational amusement water parks. In the evening we suggest you clubs, discos, pubs and restaurants scattered around the location.

We said about only 4 cities: TRIESTE with its wide Piazza Unità and its hundreds of little streets where get a promenade, GORIZIA the Medieval city, UDINE  where the famous architect Giovanni Battista Tiepolo worked for years and PORDENONE on the Carso area remembering the sad experience of the Grande Guerra; but Friuli Venezia Giulia is also Sea and Fun thanks to lovely location as  Lignano Sabbiadoro and Grado on the northern Adriatic Coast, and Good Cuisine with fine DOC Wine renowned all around the world or local products known and exported worldwide products as Prosciutto San Daniele, Montasio cheese and Smoked Ham of Souris.

Worth of a stop is the ancient city of Aquileia, which was one of the most renowned centers of the Roman Empire. Aquileia now has been  included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the same list we found also the Dolomites, these mountains offer a very beautiful colored landscapes in winter months and in the summer period, crystal lakes, snow-capped peaks and scenic valleys; famous ski resorts such as Tarvisio, Piancavallo, Saura and Nivea Sella offer kilometers of slopes and modern equipment in addition to the impressive rocky massifs and charming views for mountains’ lovers.
